Arte Himalayana Scultura in rame dorato raffigurante Gyaltsab je
Tibet, XVII secolo . -. Cm 8,20 x 13,00. Seduto in padmasana su una base a doppio fiore di loto, la mano destra nel gesto di incoraggiamento abhayamudra, la sinistra, in avakasamudra, regge un libro. La figura veste abiti monacali e porta il copricapo a punta caratteristico della scuola Gelug-pa. Presenti pigmenti ed argento sul volto.
E' probabile che la figura possa essere identificata con uno dei due principali discepoli del maestroTsong Khapa, Gyaltsab je (1364-1432) oppure uno dei Dalai Lama.

Tibet, 17th century . . Cm 8,20 x 13,00. The character sits in the padmasana position on a double lotus flower base. The right hand performs the abhayamudra gesture while the left, in the avakasamudra, holds a book. The character wears monastic robes and the typical headdress of the Gelug-pa school. Traces of silver and pigments are visible on the face.
The character could be identified as one of the two main disciples of the master Tsong Khapa, Gyaltsab je (1364-1432) or as one of the Dalai Lama.
