Arte Himalayana Turana in legno scolpito con tracce policrome
Nepal, XVII - XVIII secolo . -. Cm 85,00 x 47,50. Sovrapporta scolpito con al centro Garuda alato, ai suoi fianchi due nagini, una maschile ed una femminile, e due chimere (makara) dalla cui bocca fuoriesce un getto d'acqua. All'interno dell'opera si distinguono anche i cinque Buddha trascenti (jina) nella loro variante coronata in sambhogakaya. All'apice dell'opera è possibile notare Vairokana, mentre alla destra di Garuda siedono Amitabha e Aksobhya e a sinistra sono ritratti Amoghasiddhi e Ratnasmbhava.

Nepal, 17th - 18th century . . Cm 85,00 x 47,50. Carved turana picturing the winged Garuda in the center, two naginis, a female and a male one, and two chimeras (makara) with water springing from the mouths, on his sides. Inside the five transcendent Buddhas (jina) are visible, in their sambhogakaya aspect. At the top of the work is pictured Vairokana, while at Garuda’s right are seated Amitabha and Aksobhya, and at his left are pictured Amoghasiddhi and Ratnasmbhava.
