Legatura in mezza pelle, con giglio in oro al piatto anteriore e titoli dorati al dorso; taglio superiore dorato e sguardie in carta marrone. Lievi abrasioni, ma nel complesso buona conservazione. (4)Prima edizione dell'opera di Thomas Adolphus Trollope, giornalista e storico, che visse in Italia per oltre 40 anni, la cui casa fiorentina, Villino Trollope, fu luogo di incontro di molti autori inglesi e stranieri in Italia, tra cui Dickens, George Eliot e Robert Browning.
