Elegante copia in ottimo stato di conservazione e a pieni margini della seconda tiratura uguale alla prima del 1780-81 in pregiata legatura firmata Pagnant. Il titolo di questa raccolta, con 72 racconti, deriva dal fatto che la storia si svolge nell'arco di sette giorni, l'ottavo e ultimo è incompiuto.
3 volumi, 8vo (215 x 145mm). Occhielli, antiporte calcografiche e frontespizio in ogni volume, 73 figure di Freudeberg, 72 vignette e 72 cul-de-Lampe, fogli parzialmente intonsi (curioso errore tipografico a carta k2v del terzo volume, il cul de lampe di carta k3v stampato sopra il testo, sporadiche e lievi piccole macchie). Mezzo marocchino rosso firmato Pagnant, dorsi dorati. (3)

A fine copy in excellent condition and with full margins of the second edition identical to the first of 1780-81 in a Pagnant binding. The title of this collection, with 72 stories, derives from the fact that the story unfolds over seven days, the eighth and last being unfinished.
3 volumes, 8vo (215 x 145mm). Half-titles, engraved frontispiece and title in each volume, 73 illustrations by Freudeberg, 72 vignettes and 72 cul-de-Lampe, partially unopend (curious typographical error in k2v of the third volume, the cul de lampe of k3v printed above the text, occasional and light stains). Half red morocco by Pagnant, gilt spines. (3)
