Pregiata copia in ottime condizioni con legatura di pregio di Belz-Niedrée per il Principe di Essling.
4to (281 x 215mm). Marca tipografica al frontespizio e fregi xilografici, carta geografica di Roma antica incisa in rame e 40 tavole di Gravelot, Eisen, de Blomey e St. Aubin; le tavole sono rilegate in fine al volume, in una copia venduta in passato viene descritto un frontespizio inciso in rame, ma questo non è presente nella copia della BNF e sembrerebbe essere qui la tavola n.1. Marocchino rosso e dorato di Belz-Niedrée con armi del Principe di Essling. Provenienza: Principe di Essling (legatura alle armi).

Woodcut device on title and headpieces, engraved map of ancient Rome and 40 plates by Gravelot, Eisen, de Blomey and St. Aubin; the plates are bound at end, a copy sold in the past is described with an engraved frontispiece but this does not appear in the BNF copy and the description matches that of plate 1. Red morocco gilt by Belz-Niedrée with arms of the Prince of Essling. Provenance: Prince of Essling (arms on binding).
