Arte Cinese Incensiere in bronzo decorato con iscrizione in lode ad Allah
Cina, fine dinastia Ming, XVII secolo . -. Cm 17,50 x 8,00. Fusione in bronzo a patina scura in forma di incensiere circolare poggiante su tre piedi. I due lati dell'oggetto, definiti dai solidi manici, recano due cartigli lobati contenenti iscrizioni in arabo. Marchio a sei caratteri Hu WenMing (realizzato da Hu Wenming di Yunjian) sulla base. Altri incensieri firmati dallo stesso artista sono stati venduti da Christie's e da Sotheby's (cfr. Christie's London, May 13th 2011, asta 6162, lot 1039).
Una vecchia etichetta attaccata ad uno dei manici riferisce che l'oggetto fu preso da dal palazzo di Pechino.

China, late Ming dynasty, 17th century . . Cm 17,50 x 8,00. Bronze cast with dark patina in the shape of a circular censer resting on three feet. The two sides of the item, defined by the robust handles, show two lobed cartouches containing inscriptions in Arabic. Hu Wen Ming six characters brand (made by Hu Wenming of Yunjian) on the base. Other censers signed by the same artist were sold by Christie’s and Sotheby’s (cf. Christie’s London, May 13, 2011, auction 6162, lot 1039).
An old label on one of the handles tells that the item was taken from the Beijing Palace.
