Arte Islamica Brocca in bronzo con decorazione incisa e manico a forma di dragone
Iran, Khorasan, XI - XII secolo . -. Cm 32,00. Poggiante su disco con corpo globulare, rastrematura sul collo, beccuccio, tappo a cupola e manico dalla forme sinuose che ricordano la coda di un dragone. Piede, collo e tappo sono decorati con incisioni floreale, mentre il corpo centrale mostra delle rondelle con decoro floreale astratto.

Arte Islamica A bronze ewer with incised decoration and dragon shaped handle
Iran, Khorasan, 11th - 12th century . . Cm 32,00. Resting on disc, with globular body, tapering on the neck, spout, dome shaped stopper and sinuous shaped handle, reminding of a dragon’s tail. The base, neck and stopper are decorated with floral engravings, while the central body displays discs with an abstract floral motif.
A similar item was auctioned by Sotheby’s during the auction of April 20, 2015 (lot 103).
