Arte Cinese Stele in bronzo dorato raffigurante un bodhisattva entro aureola fiammeggiante
Cina, datata 5 aprile 551 d. C., dinastia Qi o posteriore . -. Cm 27,50. Su un'alta base quadrata con iscrizioni incise si poggia una seconda base a doppio loto sulla quale si erge il bodhisattva, forse Akasagarbha, adornato dei consueti gioielli. Altre iscrizioni si trovano incise sul retro dell'aureola fiammeggiante che lo circonda.
Iscrizioni: statua commemorativa realizzata in epoca Qi, durante il regno dell'imperatore Timbao (550-559 dC) nell'ottavo ciclo sessagesimale (551 dC). E sulla base: primo distretto opera donata il quinto giorno del quarto mese lunare (5 aprile).

China, dated 5th April 551 CE., Qi dynasty or later . . Cm 27,50. On a tall square base with carved inscriptions, lays a second base shaped as a double lotus flower, on which the bodhisattva, perhaps Akasagarbha, stands, adorned by the usual jewels. Further inscriptions are on the back of the flaming halo that surrounds him.
Inscriptions: memorial statue sculpted in the Qi period, during the reign of the emperor Timbao (550-559 AD) in the 8th sexagesimal cycle (551 AD). Also, on the base: first district, work gifted on the fifth day of the fourth lunar month (April 5).
