Interessante terracotta raffigurante la testa di un personaggio caratterizzato da un cappello a punta e raffigurato in modo molto naturalistico. E' infatti probabile che l'effige si riferisca ad una persona realmente esistita, forse inquadrabile all'interno di un contesto religioso buddista, a giudicare dalla presenza di un castone con pietra ora mancante che evoca il terzo occhio e dal caratteristico berretto a punta, molto simile a quello distintivo di alcune scuole religiose buddiste. L'oggetto è corredato di test termoluminescenza, rilasciato da Art Test (Firenze) nel gennaio 2015, che conferma che il campione sia compatibile con la datazione proposta. Interno cavo.

Part of a terracotta sculpture, depicting the head of a character wearing a pointy hat, and pictured in a very realistic fashion. It is in fact likely that the sculpture depicted an existing person, presumably pertaining to a Buddhist context, judging from the presence of the third eye (originally holding a stone, now missing) and from the characteristic pointy hat, distinctive of some Buddhist schools. The item is accompained by the results of a thermoluminescence dating teste, conducted by Art Test (Florence) in January 2015 and certifying that the proposed dating of the item is realistic.
