Arte Islamica Yatagan con fodero in pelle e argento sbalzato, datata 1270 (1849)
Turchia, dinastia Ottomana, XIX secolo. -. Cm 112,00. Bello Yatagan con impugnatura in legno abbellita da lastra in oro lavorata a sbalzo recante motivi vegetali che continua sulla parte superiore della lama che mostra un'incisione con arabeschi ed una cartuccia rettangolare nel mezzo con iscrizione: proprietà di Ahmad 1270 (1849)
Il fodero in pelle sfoggia le estremità decorate con una lamina d'argento sbalzata con motivi floreali e puntinati.

Turkey, half 19th century. . Cm 112,00. A beautiful Yatagan with wooden handle embellished with an embossed golden plaque. This plaque shows plant motifs which embellish a part of the blade that is decorated with carved arabesques and a rectangular frame where "property of Ahmad 1270" is written. (1270 refers to 1849 AD.) The leather sheath has its extremities embellished with an embossed silver foil with floral motifs.
