Arte Himalayana Statua in ferro raffigurante Buddha Amitayus
Tibet, XVIII secolo. -. Cm 17,30 x 34,50 x 13,50. Scura fusione a base di ferro ritraente il Buddha trascendente Amitayus (Tshe-dpag-med lha-dgu) con le mani in grembo in posizione dhyanamudra accoglie il sacro contenitore. La figura inoltre poggia su un alto piedistallo decorato con leone delle nevi ed ha retrostantemente una torana traforata con all'apice la bestia benefica Cheppu.

Iron-based fusion statue which depicts the transcendent Buddha Amitayus (Tshe-dpag-med lha-dgu) with his hands in dhyanamudra position. He stands on a high base embellished with a snow lion and behind him there is a torana, on top of which stands the benefical beast Cheppu.
