Struck 450-440 BC c.ca. Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving slow quadriga r.; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses with wreath; in exergue, ketos r.; Rv. ΣYRAKOΣI-O-N, diademed head of Arethusa right, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace, hair bound with single thin diadem and rolled in the back; four dolphins around. Boehringer 504 (O267/R360); HGC 1311. Good very fine / near extremely fine.
