Lot 1035 French piano by Louis Cécovi, ca. 1910/1920 Manufacturer: Automatic piano, L. Cecovi, Clermont-Ferrand. Serial number 13072. Spring-driven, coin-operated, tuning lever, 8 melodies, adjustable volume, blackened wooden case. The spring works. The instrument does not work now, but needs to be cleaned, adjusted and tuned. - Spring-driven barrel pianos are typical French instruments and were installed in many bars until ca. 1945 as a precursor to the jukebox.
