Meticulous work by Giuseppe Grassi (Turin 1779-1831) that lists all parts, tools and military equipment, actualizing the work done by the writers of the past centuries with the innovations brought by the Napoleonic campaigns and then by the Restoration.
After this first edition, the Author expanded it by doubling the work with the help of some academicians of the Crusca who published it posthumously.
