Massari Lucia, Teste composte are a series of mirrors inspired by Arcimboldo’s paintings, com- posed of swirls, rosettes, flowers and leaves – some of the most typical elements of craftwork of Venetian mirrors – in the place of beards, eyes, noses and hair. The mirrors, so over-decorated, recall the excesses of the baroque era, downplay- ing instead any seriousness typical of the Baroque trend with irony and lightness.
