Tappeto Keshan, scuola di Motashem, Persia, inizio secolo XX. Tappeto annodato con lane di ottima qualità utilizzando la tipica armatura di telaio caratteristica di questa prestigiosa provenienza. Il decoro riproduce lo schema del tappeto di Ardabil, conservato presso il Victoria and Albert Museum di Londra, utilizzando i colori ciclamino, blu, bianco, camoscio e beige. Ad una testata è presente un cartiglio di grandi dimensioni contenente un'iscrizione in caratteri persiani su fondo bianco. Vi è poi un piccolo cartiglio con caratteri persiani su fondo blu. (cm 716x380) (lievi difetti, piccole aree di usura del vello con alune pennellate di colore)

Keshan main carpet, Motashem school, Persia, early 20th century. Knotted with wool of excellent quality and woven with the typical loom armor of this prestigious origin. The decoration reproduces the pattern of the carpet of Ardabil, preserved at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, using the colors cyclamen, blue, white, suede and beige. At one head there is a large cartouche containing an inscription in Persian characters on a white background. Another small cartouche with Persian characters on a blue background is at the top (cm 716x380) (Slight defects, small areas of wear on the pile with minimal brushstrokes of color)
