Seconda edizione francese di questa bella raccolta di emblemi arricchita da eleganti bordure rinascimentali di 17 tipi diversi che si alternano nel testo.
8vo (155 x 95mm). Frontespizio e testo entro eleganti cornici xilografiche, numerose vignette emblematiche nel testo (lievemente brunito, rifilato ai margini). Legatura del XVII secolo in piena pelle con titolo e decori in oro al dorso, sguardie marmorizzate, tagli rossi (moderni restauri con integrazioni alle cerniere, al dorso e agli angoli, difetti). Provenienza: Francis Freeling (exlibris; 1764-1836).

8vo (155 x 95mm). Title and text within elegant woodcut borders, numerous emblematic vignettes in text (slightly browned, trimmed at margins). 17th-century calf with title and decorations in gilt on spine, marbled endpapers, red edges (modern restorations with integrations to hinges, spine and corners, some wear). Provenance: Francis Freeling (bookplate; 1764-1836).
