BOCCACCIO, Giovanni (1313-1375) - Il Decamerone … nuovamente corretto et con diligentia stampato. Firenze, ma Venezia: Li heredi di Philippo di Giunta, ma Angiolo Pasinello, 1527, ma 1729.
Celebre contraffazione stampata in sole 300 copie dell'edizione del 1527 del Decameron edito da Giunta, che raggiunse lo stato di estrema rarità e la cui elevatissima domanda portò alla stampa di questa pirata. Pasinello, editore di questa edizione, la stampò per Stefano Orlandelli su richiesta del console inglese Joseph Smith, trovò i caratteri corrispondenti e riuscì perfino a riprodurre la marca tipografica, tuttavia la qui presente è numerata correttamente mentre l'edizione del 1527 ha le pagine 24, 101 e 168 segnate errate (rispettivamente come 42, 101, 168).
4to (246 x 175mm). Marca tipografica al frontespizio e in fine, alcune iniziali in penna rossa, si aggiunge un foglio di guardia con un'incisione in rame e una nota manoscritta che spiega della contraffazione (angolo inferiore del frontespizio con minimo restauro). Legatura moderna che riusa una pergamena antica al dorso con titolo e autore su etichette; cofanetto moderno.

Renown counterfeit edition printed in only 300 copies of the 1527 edition of the Decameron published by Giunta, which reached the state of extreme rarity and whose very high demand led to the press of this pirate edition. Pasinello, publisher of this edition, printed it for Stefano Orlandelli at the request of the English consul Joseph Smith, he found the corresponding characters and even managed to reproduce the printer's device, however this is numbered correctly while the 1527 edition has pages 24 , 101 and 168 marked incorrectley (respectively as 42, 101, 168)
