Laszlo Barta (1902-1961) was a Hungarian-Jewish artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest while at the same time traveling to Italy and France. In his youth in Hungary, he painted still-lifes, views of the Lake Balaton, and figurative compositions.
