This artwork was realized by the French artist Jean Antoine Injallaert (1845–1933), born in Béziers. His work shows powerful imagination and a strong personality, as well as great knowledge of the technique. From about 1915 onwards, he became an influential teacher at the Académie Calorossi and a chief instructor at the École des Beaux-Arts. "
