Child in the Flower Basket, 1918 "Child in the flower basket è una raffinata stampa originale (incisa nel legno) di André Mare (argentino, 1885-1932), come riporta la nota dattiloscritta sotto l'immagine.
Charles André Mare (1885–1932), o André-Charles Mare, fu un pittore e designer francese, fondatore della Compagnia d'arte francese (la Compagnie des Arts Français) nel 1919. Disegnò e dipinse scene basate sulle sue esperienze in PRIMA GUERRA MONDIALE. Le sue opere includono: American Troops Marching Through the Arch of Triumph (1930) e The Funeral of Marshal Foch (1931). "
