Rapporto all'Imperatore del periodo dell'esilio all'Elba scritto dal generale Bertrand (1773-1844) per la costruzione di un ponte sulla strada che porta a Campo nell'Elba. L'imperatore risponde dal forte di Longone in una piccola nota il 19 Settembre di rimandare il progetto all'anno venturo. Bella testimonianza dell'impegno diretto di Napoleone nella gestione del piccolo regno dove fu brevemente relegato.

The Emperor writes from Longone in a marginal note to postpone the project for the coming year.
