Splendida raccolte di tavole colorate a mano che descrivono nel dettaglio i vestiti e costumi dell'epoca.
2 volumi, folio (336 x 235mm). Doppi frontespizi stampati in rosso e nero in inglese e francese con vignette incise in rame, 240 splendide tavole colorate a mano di vestiti dell'epoca (alcune bruniture, fioriture e sporadiche macchie). Pelle coeva, titolo su etichette in pelle al dorso, tagli a spruzzo (difetti più marcati al dorso e alle giunture, un po' di perdite e restauri). Altri due volumi dell'opera vennero poi pubblicati nel 1772. (2)

A fine collection of plates describing various dresses of the times.
2 volumes, folio (336 x 235mm). Double titles in red and black printed in English and French, 240 handcoloured plates (some browning, spotting and occasional stains). Contemporary calf, titles on spine labels, speckled edges (some rubbing, chipping, wear and restoration). Another two volumes were published in 1772. (2)
