Antecedenti il frontespizio due incisioni in rame raffiguranti rispettivamente l'autore e una scena allegorica con rovine di monumenti egizi e la figura di Minerva al centro, 158 (di 159) tavole incise in rame (numerate I-CLIX) su 156 fogli e 5 tavole non numerate (manca la tavola XV, lievi bruniture marginali e occasionali macchie di umidità). Legatura in piena pergamena moderna (piatti leggermente imbarcati).
