Arte Islamica Ciotola in ceramica decorata a lustro con elementi vegetali Iraq, periodo abbasside, IX secolo . . Cm 22,80 x 7,40. Poggiante su disco, le pareti leggermente arcuate ed il bordo estroflesso, l'interno è finemente dipinto a lustro con tre foglie di palma simmetriche su invetriatura bianca opaca. L'esterno dipinto con foglie stilizzate. La base mostra una vecchia etichetta che recita: "a figuré en 1950 à l'exposition au Palais de l'Industrie à Barcelone N°25 Exposition d'art iranien à Rome en 1956". Provenienza: Esposta da Joseph Soustiel alla seconda Biennale des Antiquaires di Parigi nel 1964 e poi parte della collezione Coiffard.
Islamic Art A fine lustreware pottery bowl painted with palm leaves Abbassid Iraq, 9th century. . Cm 22,80 x 7,40. Resting on a disc, the sides are slightly curved and the rim is everted. The inside is fine lustreware painted with three symmetrical palm leaves on white opaque glaze. The exterior is painted with stylized leaves. The base shows an old label reading "a figuré en 1950 à l'exposition au Palais de l'Industrie à Barcelone N°25 Exposition d'art iranien à Rome en 1956". Provenance: presented by Joseph Soustiel during the second Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, 1964, later part of the Coiffard collection.
