Arte Himalayana Scultura in metallo dorato a soggetto tantrico Tibet, XVII secolo . -. Cm 11,00 x 11,50. Doppia fusione in lega di rame raffigurante probabilmente Heruka. La figura con volto irato mostra tre facce - ognuna delle quali è dotata di terzo occhio- due gambe in pratyalidha e sei braccia, ognuna con il suo attributo di cui alcuni mancanti. Le due mani principali stringono una kapala fumante ed un vajra ed allo stesso tempo avvolgono la sua consorte legata in yab.yum, anch'essa con sei braccia e tre volti. Su entrambe le figure sono presenti tracce policrome sul volto e sulla rossa capigliatura fiammeggiante. Sulla schiena della figura maschile è inoltre presente una ruota del dharma. Dotata di base non coeva.
Arte Himalayana A gilded metal scultpure of tantrik subject possibly portraying Heruka Tibet, 17th century . . Cm 11,00 x 11,50. Double cast in copper alloy, likely to depict Heruka. The figure, with a wrathful expression, has three faces, each of them with a third eye, two legs in the prayalidha position, and six arms, each bearing its attribute, some of which are missing. The two main hands hold a smoking kapala and a vajra, while embracing the spouse, she as well with six arms and three faces, in the yab-yum position. On both figures are polychrome traces on the face and the red flaming hair. On the back of the male figure is also present a Dharma wheel. The base is not coeval.
