Arte Indiana Statua in arenaria rosa raffigurante un'apsara
India, Madhya Pradesh, possibilmente Khajuraho, XI secolo . -. Cm 13,00 x 24,50. Bel frammento diYakshini in sinuosa posizione tribanka e caratterizzata dalla gioielleria sul petto.
L'opera può stilisticamente essere ricondotta alle opere monumentali di Khajuraho, un celebre complesso templare situato in Madhya Pradesh risalente al X - XI secolo, dinastia Chandela.
L'oggetto si presenta su base di plexiglass per un'altezza totale di 33cm.

India, Madhya Pradesh, possibly Khajuraho, 11th century . . Cm 13,00 x 24,50. This statue depicts Yakshini in a sinuous tribanka position, with a jewel on her chest. Stilistically, this work can be linked to the monumental statues of Khajuraho, a famous Madhya Pradesh temple complex dating back to 10th-11th century, Chandela dynasty. The statue has a plexiglass base. Total height: 33 cm. Some parts are missing.
