India, Rajasthan, XIX secolo. -. Cm 31,00 x 16,00. Dipinto raffigurante i festeggiamenti seguiti alla liberazione di Sita da Lanka. Rama e Sita sono seduti sul trono, accanto a loro due attendenti e davanti Humayun, lo spirito dall'aspetto di scimmia che aiuta Rama nel salvataggio della moglie Sita. Nel registro superiore si scorgono Shiva, Parvati e Brahma che rendono omaggio e si uniscono ai festeggiamenti. Personaggi secondari ed iscrizioni in devanagari sulla sinistra.

Rama and Sita are seated on the throne, flanked by attendants and in front of them there is Humayun, the monkey-headed spirit that helps Rama rescuing his wife. In the upper register there are Shiva, Parvati and Brahma coming to honor and celebrate them. Secondary characters and devanagari script on the left.
