Tibet, XIX secolo. -. Cm 37,00 x 48,70. Thangka raffigurante uno schema astrologico con i segni dello zodiaco cinese al centro della composizione, circondati da una fiammeggiante tartaruga stilizzata. Tra le figure dell'ordine superiore è possibile distinguere il bodhisattva della compassione Avalokitesvara nella sua variante a quattro braccia. Nella zona inferiore è presente un cartiglio vuoto.

L'oggetto è inserito in una cornice con doppio vetro.
Arte Himalayana An Astrological Thangka
Tibet, 19th century . . Cm 37,00 x 48,70. This Thangka portrays an astrological scheme, where Chinese zodiac signs are depicted at the center of the composition, surrounded by a flaming tortoise. Among the figures in the upper part of the painting there are the bodhisattva of compassion Avalokitesvara (in his four-armed version). In the lower part there is a blank roll. Irregular measures. The Thangka is protected by a double-glass frame.
