Arte Cinese Statua in pietra policroma di Guanyin stante
Cina, dinastia Sui 581 - 618 o posteriore. . Cm 97,00. Statua raffigurante il bodhisattva della compassione Avalokitesvara stante, abbigliata con ricche vesti ed opulenti gioielli che cadono a cascata, un espediente diffuso nella statuaria di epoca Sui.
Per un esemplare comparativo si veda la statua di Guanyin Pusa conservata all'Harvard Art Museum (Object Number 1943-53-43).

This statue portrays the bodhisattva of compassion Avalokitesvara, standing, who wears lavish dress and jewels as in the tradition of Sui age's statues. A similar object is the statue of Guanyin Pusa in Harvard Art Museum (Object Number 1943-53-43). This statue stands on a base.
