Phili- and Phi-, magistrates. Nude rider on horse galloping to r., stabbing with spear held in his r. hand and holding two other spears and shield with his l.; below, ΣΑ; Rv. [TAPAΣ], youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to l., holding dolphin in his r. hand and distaff in his l.; to left, ΦΙ; to right, ivy-leaf; below, waves. HN Italy 934; Vlasto 584. Traces of old cleaning. Perhaps slightly tooled in some limited areas around the heads on both obverse and reverse. Near extremely fine.
