Head of Athena to r., wearing crested Attic helmet, ornamented on the bowl with Skylla scanning to r. and with a griffin to right on the neck guard; Rv. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ, bull butting to right, monogram on his hindquarter; in exergue, fish swimming to r. HGC 1, 1255; HN Italy 1781 and SNG ANS 957 (but with Φ above visor). Traces of mechanical removal of oxides. Aggressive cleaning resulting in old tooling in some of the details on both obverse and reverse, otherwise good extremely fine.
