(in basso al centro) perspex opaco cm 18.6x14.5 d) numerato EA X (in basso al centro) perspex traslucido cm 18.7x14.5 e) monogramma e numerazione L.F. Realizzato nel 1968 dalle edizioni Du Soleil Noir in 80 esemplari numerati in numeri arabi + 10 esemplari HC fuori commercio numerati in numeri romani (6). Fontana creò questa serie di fogli perforati contenuti in un contenitore scultoreo come "illustrazioni" e contributo a un libro di Otto Hahn sul drammaturgo, attore, poeta, artista e regista iconoclasta francese Antonin Artaud (1896-1948). Attraverso le sue teorie sull'arte e il teatro e le sue esperienze con la tossicodipendenza, Artaud divenne una figura di enorme interesse tra gli artisti negli anni '60.

Made in 1968 by Du Soleil Noir editions in 80 copies numbered in Arabic numerals + 10 out-of-commerce HC copies numbered in Roman numerals (6). Fontana created this series of perforated sheets contained in a sculptural container as "illustrations" and contribution to a book by Otto Hahn about the French iconoclastic dramatist, actor, poet, artist and director Antonin Artaud (1896-1948). Through his theories of art and theater and his experiences with drug addiction, Artaud became a figure of enormous interest among artists in the 1960s.
